we first met – seems like yesterday!
What started as a simple online conversation quickly felt like something much more.
Despite living in different countries, we found ourselves finishing each other’s sentences, sharing the same interests, and often thinking the same way. Norlyn, a teacher from Abu Dhabi, and Sandesh, an events technical specialist from Malaysia, couldn’t ignore the many uncanny similarities and coincidences that kept appearing in our conversations.
we finally took a leap of faith!
What we thought would never work became impossible to walk away from.
The distance between us made us question whether a relationship was realistic. However, everything changed when we discovered that we both belonged to the same church family, Every Nation, despite being on different continents. That shared faith became the confirmation we had both been seeking, and just four days after meeting online, we officially began our journey together.
we fell in love instantly – well almost!
Three months later, we finally met in person.
Norlyn flew from Abu Dhabi to Malaysia, turning video calls and messages into real memories together. What we assumed might be a short-lived romance soon became something far deeper. With every visit, conversation, and milestone, our relationship grew stronger, proving that distance was never stronger than what God was building between us.
… and he finally proposed!
Sealing the deal..
Within a year, Sandesh already knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Norlyn. Wanting to make her birthday unforgettable, he secretly flew to Abu Dhabi to surprise her. What began as a birthday surprise became an even greater one when he got down on one knee and asked the question that would shape the rest of our lives. And, she said yes.
